2 x Locum Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurses to join their Locality Teams.
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm
QualificationsEssential criteria• Relevant professional qualification - Mental Health Nursing, professional registration NMC• Mentorship qualification/assessor• Relevant continuous inhouse or external trainingDesirable criteria• Qualification/training in relevant psycho-social intervention• Master's degreeExperienceEssential criteria• Experience of Interagency of working• Experience of managing a caseload• Experience of working with people experiencing severe and enduring illness• Experience of working with diverse groups of patients and staffDesirable criteria• Experience of working in the community• Experience of supporting practice development in clinical areasSkills and AbilitiesEssential criteria• Knowledge of CPA, Community Care Act, Carers Act, Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation as application to practice• Skills in mental health and risk assessments• Understanding of Care Coordination and CPA• Skills in being responsive to service user’s and carers' needs• Understanding of recovery in Mental Health• Very good understanding of care plan and holistic careDesirable criteria• Problem solving, ability to identify problems, review options and make decision• Skilled in supervision of others, and in providing critical and constructive feedback• Knowledge of clinical governance and audit Interviewer information packOther requirementsEssential criteria• Empathy for service users including individuals who have experienced mental health problems.• Ability to fulfil all the requirements of the role (including physical)• Loyal and able to advocate for and show pride in the work area and organization and demonstrates values of trust and expectations |
