Locum Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to join their Eating Disorders Team.
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm
Job Description
Our clients require a qualified and experienced nurse to carry out Eating Disorder (psychiatric) assessments, care planning, risk assessments, and participate in MDT meetings within the Eating Disorder Service.
Candidates should ideally have experience working in community teams. They should have a solid understanding of Eating Disorders (and Mental Health) including interventions used to treat this mental health condition. They should be skilled at engaging patients and need to be assertive in their approach to patient care. Must be confident in monitoring physical health with basic knowledge to do basic vital signs.
Candidates may be expected to carry out home visits as well as see patients at our office Milton Keynes
