Our clients in Oxford are urgently seeking to recruit a Band 7 Neurodevelopmental Practitioner/Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join their Multidisciplinary CAMHS Service,
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
The Trust are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic senior mental health practitioner to join their multidisciplinary CAMHS team, working in the Neurodevelopmental Pathway. The post holder will be working with a wide range of children and young people and will be expected to demonstrate expertise and leadership in relation to assessment and intervention for young people with range of complex neuro-developmental diagnoses as they are providing pre-diagnostic support to families with children and young people on the waiting list.
In addition to direct clinical work, there will be the opportunity to use a wide range of core clinical skills such as teaching, training, consultation, supervision, and audit / service evaluation.
The following skills have been specified: - experience with neurodevelopmental conditions, preferably including diagnostic experience. Car driver, mental health experience
Once settled, there will be an opportunity for up to 80% working from home, but the post holder will need to be able to travel at short notice, if for example they needed to do an urgent mental health assessment.
