Our clients in South London are urgently seeking a Locum Band 7 CPN to join their CAMHS Crisis Service.
Hours: 37.5 (shift pattern covering Monday to Saturday 09.00 to 22.00pm) part time and job shares will be considered.
The post holder, together with senior colleagues, will have responsibility for assuring the quality of clinical practice in the treatment of high risk and crisis cases within CAMHS. They will hold responsibility for ensuring that all team members participate in audit, evaluation and research in the treatment of self harm.
The post holder will manage their own caseload and provide brief intensive intervention to young people in mental health crisis and take an active role in the assessment of young people presenting at Hospital in need of urgent mental health assessment or who have self-harmed.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that staff within the team achieve positive clinical outcomes for children, young people and their families and that these are evidenced by performance indicators such as activity data, targets and quality measures.
The post holder will work in partnership with Social services, Education Voluntary agencies and child health to support integrated practice and service delivery
