Our clients in Oxford are urgently seeking to recruit a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse or Occupational Therapist to join their Perinatal Mental Health Service.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. There is a rota each week for staff to work from the base and on the other none base days staff will be working remotely, seeing patients in their homes, but not coming in to the base.
There will be some opportunities for staff to work remotely using digital/telephones to provide intervention.
The Service is currently working face to face with patients with some scope for agile working but looking for staff who are able to offer face to face support at short notice for emergency work.
The team offers triage, assessment and interventions for women with SMI from conception up to 24 months post birth.
Working with women with service depression/anxiety, bipolar, psychosis, complex presentations, monitoring risk to self and others, appointed staff will require a good understanding of safeguarding and ability to safety plan, work with carers as well and the women open to the services.
There are team meetings weekly to discuss clinical issues and also supervision within the team.
The team work closely with maternity services, social care teams, GPs IPPS, OXPIP.
Experience of working in Perinatal Services is desirable but community experience is essential.
