Our clients in South West London are urgently seeking to recruit a Locum Band 6 CPN to join their Recovery and Support Service.
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Job Description
  • Will be responsible, under supervision, for the assessment/care co-ordination of a number of cases (25-30) as identified and supervised by the team leader.
  • To undertake collaborative risk assessments and risk management and crisis plans as appropriate.
  • To work with service users to identify recovery goals as part of the overall care plan.
  • To work as an integral part of the MDT in providing a flexible and responsive service where required (this will involve a duty system, assist with the depot clinic).
  • To provide supervised interventions in evidence based practice where required.
  • To work within policy, professional and legal frameworks at all times and have a clear understanding of ones Code of Professional Conduct, adult and child protection protocols, Mental Health and Capacity Acts and CPA, and Trust clinical policies.
  • To effectively work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to/implement decisions with regard to service users’ treatment and care.
  • To develop therapeutic relationships which facilitate collaborative working.
  • To maintain a high standard of written communications, recording appropriate events and observations in accordance with Trust policies and Code of Professional Conduct.
  • To maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with Trust policies and professional Code of Conduct.
  • Maintain appropriate, up to date, written and electronic records and activity data in accordance with Professional and Trusts standards.
  • Excellent Assessment Skills
  • Experience of Home Treatment or Psychiatric Triage
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good Communicator
  • Good computer skills
  • Experience of working with people who have Psychosis
  • Experience of working in a busy Community Mental Health Team
  • Ability to commute by car
