Our clients in Oxleas are urgently seeking to recruit a Locum Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse (CPN) to join their Intensive Care Management for Psychosis Service.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
The ICMP provides a flexible service to full adults within the psychosis clusters who currently require secondary community mental health care in the locality. If therefore includes all those diagnosed with bipolar disorder as well as the various psychotic conditions.
Experience of research/based reflective practice, eg. understanding and ability to use supervision to reflect on skills, attitude and knowledge and develop these by using evidence based practices, significant relevant clinical experience, evidence of continuing professional development and as a preceptor/mentor.
Knowledge of clinical governance and audit, understanding care co-ordination under the CPA.
Able to provide quality care that is responsive to service user's needs, without close supervision.
Skills in clinical assessment/baseline mental health assessment
Skills in risk assessment and risk management and crisis management.
Resilient - able to cope with difficult interpersonal situations.
