Our clients in South London are urgently seeking to recruit a Locum Band 6 CPN to join their Parental Mental Health Service.
Hours: Shift Pattern: Flexible, 3-5 days 9am to 5pm, between Monday and Friday, if less than 5 days, Wednesday is a preferred day.
The post holder will be contributing to the provision of services to meet the needs of adults experiencing mental health difficulties who have children in the 0.5 age range. They will have responsibility for the provision of mental health assessments and assessments of family strengths and difficulties and will deliver a broad range of AMH evidence-based individual interventions as well as supporting the service user as a parent.
The post holder will work with other AMH practitioners from all disciplines. They will be a member of internal and external professional networks to ensure that care plans for adults and services across agencies are co-ordinated efficiently and effectively and will be required to assess and manage risk within your case load and make appropriate referrals.
The post holder will manage their own caseload and work within a team but will have freedom to act within the service framework and Trust operational policies. They will manage your time and your caseload within your job plan. You will be accountable for your own professional actions, your day-to-day work will be managed rather than supervised, and you will initiate new clinical and service actions guided by broad Trust clinical policies and procedures.
The post holder may be required to supervise, manage or advise trainees of the team.
