Our clients in Surrey are urgently seeking to recruit a Locum Band 5 Triage/Assessment Clinician to join their Single Point of Access Service.
Hours: Shift pattern: 8am to 4pm, 10am to 6pm, 12pm to 8am. (Could also include Saturday mornings)
The post holder will work within the Single Point of Access providing clinical screening and triage for all crisis, urgent and routine referrals. As a Band 5 you will be working alongside more senior clinicians in order to expand skills and experience in the triage, assessment and formulation of people experiencing an emotional or mental health difficulties. You will learn from experience, peer mentorship, practice and reflection until you are confident and competent to practice more autonomously as a band 6 practitioner.
This is an integrated role offering regular clinical time within one of the CAMHS Clinics so to enhance the clinical understanding of how services go on to assess the needs of service users which will in turn ensure that triage processes are more robust and accurate. This will also generate key relationships with colleagues outside of the SPA which will help foster useful conversations as part of the clinical triage process.
PMVA is required.
