Locum Band 5 RMN - Medium Secure Forensic Ward

​​​​Our clients in Oxford are urgently seeking to recruit

a Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse to join their Forensic Medium Secure Forensic Inpatient Service.

Hours: 5 x 7.5 hrs (combination of early and late shifts) over 3 weeks plus 1 week of 4 nights.

Job Description

The post holder will be:-

• Nurse in charge of the ward

• Ability to complete risk assessments and care plans

• Ability to support the ward manager with set tasks

• Good communication skills

• Ability to have 1:1 sessions with patients

• Ability to support staff and patients

• Ability to support staff and patients

• TASID/Control and Restraint

• De-escalation skills

• Excellent writing concise reports.
