About the Service
Our service provides a stepped model of care tailored to individual needs, and we treat patients wanting recovery, those who want to be able to live safely with their eating disorder, and those requiring acute intervention because they have reached a dangerously low weight. We offer a range of programmes and evidence-based treatments to assist a patient’s return to independent living, including work, training or study, at the earliest opportunity.
We work with adults (over 18) and with young people who are approaching their 18th birthday and likely to require support or treatment into adulthood. For patients in the area, we collaborate with our colleagues in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to manage the transition to adult services. We are able to cater for the needs of male and female patients.
